Aerial Ladder Operations

4, 8, or 12 Hours – Lecture & Practical 
This program will educate the student on the operations of the Aerial Ladder related to the driver and operator. Students will learn proper placement, offensive vs defensive operations, life safety rescue, roof ventilation, and more techniques focusing on the operations of the Aerial Ladder. After completion of this program, students will have a better understanding of how versatile and effective they can position and operate their Aerial Ladder on the fire ground.

Tower Ladder Operations

4, 8, or 12 Hours – Lecture & Practical
This program will educate the student on operations of the Tower Ladder driver and operator positions. Students will learn proper placement, offensive vs. defensive operations, life safety rescue, roof ventilation, and more techniques focusing on the use of the tower ladder apparatus. After completion of this program, students will have a better understanding of how versatile the tower ladder is on the fire ground.

Pump Operations: Basic & Advanced

4, 8, or 12 Hours – Lecture & Practical
Anyone messages are transmitted on incidents via the fire ground radio that provide value to the outcome of situations. How effective are your departments radio transmissions? Is crucial radio time being consumed by non-essential radio traffic? This program will focus the how, when, who and what should be transmitted on the fire ground radio. All positions from the firefighter to the incident commander will be addressed with practical simulations to reinforce the objectives.

Water Tender Operations

4 or 8 Hours – Lecture & Practical
Alternative water supplies are not just needed in the rural non-hydrant settings but could also be encountered in the urban/suburban environment with a water system issue or on remote limited access highway incidents. Knowing how to obtain a water supply from other sources can be a situation encountered by any pump operator. This program will focus on the abilities to obtain water and establish water supplies from drafting sources, tender shuttles, etc.

Certified Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO)

3 Hours – Practical
Coaching the Emergency Vehicle Operator programs for ambulance drivers and fire-apparatus operators are interactive, comprehensive and true to life. Offered in a classroom or online, drivers will learn to arrive safely, examine traffic patterns while under stress, analyze driver reaction to sirens and remain current with local/state driving and vehicle regulations.

Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC)

8 Hours – Lecture & Practical
EVOC is a National Standard Curriculum delivered in accordance with NFPA 1451. The goal of the program is to decrease emergency vehicle accidents and improve operations. Also includes a practical driving course.

Forklift Operator

6 or 8 Hours – Lecture & Practical
This OSHA compliant forklift training will teach the student to properly and safely operate a powered industrial lift truck. The student will complete both classroom and hands-on instruction. A three year certification is awarded upon completion.

Highway Responder Safety

3 Hours – Lecture 
This lecture based program will focus upon the hazards of responding to highway related incidents. The numbers are increasing in highway responder injury and deaths as this has become a severely dangerous place to operate. Proper apparatus positioning, operating procedures, response practices, equipment use, and more will be covered so that way all members are taking a more proactive stance on these incidents. This program is an unlimited enrollment and is intended for any responder who will operate on a highway incident.
